What this game stores, and what it does not.

Sideeye is a party game site. We do not sell your data or show ads. We use simple, anonymous site analytics (see below) to see how many people visit and which pages they use. We only keep what the table needs to play.
Your display name, language, vibration, notification and motion settings, last-round rules, and any custom word lists you create stay in this browser. If you allow notifications, the browser may alert you when a round moves on. Clearing site data deletes them. In-person games never leave your device.
If you host or join with a room code, the game server holds your name and the public table (who is seated, whose turn it is, votes). Secret words go only to the player who should see them. Rooms live in memory and disappear when the table ends or the server restarts. We do not keep a player database.
Signing in is optional. If you continue with Discord, we receive your account id, display name, and avatar. With your permission (guilds.join), we add you to our Discord community server once when you sign in. A signed cookie on your device keeps you logged in. You can play without an account.
When the site is hosted on Vercel, we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and basic traffic (for example which routes are opened). It does not use advertising cookies, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect your name, Discord account, or room contents. Vercel’s privacy policy applies to how they process that traffic data.
We do not use advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics runs without marketing trackers. The site may use storage your browser needs to remember language and to keep you in a room. If you sign in with Discord, a signed session cookie keeps you logged in.
